Aloha ahiahi,
I just realized a possibly false assumption and I hope you folks will
put me straight worldwide with a quick response to this question.  Are
you charged for connect time?  Services like AOL, Compuserve, Prodigy
and the like, generally get you coming and going.  If you've got to dial
long distance you pay... both for the call and the time connected to
cedrtain parts of the service.  Some years back, whne I lost my local
call access to one of the above, I discovered a number of local ISPs
that were local calls, that means my connect ime is virtually (no pun)
free. Is this not the case everywhere? (if I need a wake-up call on
this, just slap me a few times)  e kala mai (excuse me)  ems
