In response to Charles Iseman's message:

The need for non-US cultural information in the United States is a
gargantuan one.  Political agendas, commercial and corporate concerns have
dictated for too long what we are able to see in our mass communication
channels.

Databroadcasting (encompassing all forms of media) is the future conduit
for diverse programming.  In a few short months we will begin to hear more
and more about satellite/telephone networks dedicated to digital data
streams.   These networks will supplant the existing "over the air" or
cable TV delivery systems in a few short years.  Companies are already
lining up to divvy up the control of the signals.

Who owns the keys? Who has the ability to receive the data?  Television is
nearly ubiquitous.  Computers are not.  Shouldn't we also be focussed on
providing the keys to everyone?
